I recently was at a con that had terrible lighting with my a7rii, and I was constantly missing focus because the AF assist light on camera was not reaching the subject enough for the camera to see. Most of the subjects I was photographing were far away (at least 15 - 45 feet). So my question is is there any attachment for the a7 series that can be used for longer range in low light?

Hi.

I don't really have an answer for you but I did see this in the web.

He uses a high end flash gun with the flash disabled to get focus on a Nikon in low light.

Hope it helps.
