Does anyone have any experience with Affinity Photo?  If so, do you know if there are any manuals or tutorials other than the short online videos they put out?  A full on How To guide would be lovely as the learning curve is pretty steep.  It is a very good program for the money but isn't quite as intuitive in some ways as LR....but for the cost difference you can't beat it with a stick.  The trick is figuring out how to use it without losing your mind.  ;-)

I am finding my way around Affinity Photo as well. There does not appear to be a formal reference manual. There is a support forum which seems very helpful as well as the fairly extensive video content. You might also want to take a look at a new online course which looks very good https://www.udemy.co...id-foundations/ I have watched some of this guys youtube videos and he has now built a structured course that takes you through the capabilities.

Hi guys, I was just looking into Affinity Photo but I don't know much about it. I've already got Lightroom and I wanted Photoshop but it's too expensive for me with photography just being a hobby. So I'd love to know what you think about it? Does it have similar features to Photoshop that you know of? Any information you could give me would be great, thanks!

Hello Tom.

Not Affinity related but a couple of links that might be of interest.

None of them are close Photoshop but one or two have some good features, like layers.

Gimp would be the most feature rich IMHO
