Has anyone used Reikan FoCal for autofocus micro adjustments?  Thought on whether it helped?

Please don't make this a topic of why autofocus micro adjustments are bad :)

I just shot a traffic sign on a back road at a 45 degree angle and dialed it in on my D4S and 400mm bare, with 1.4,1.7 and 2X TC using Tripod and remote trigger. I seem to have nailed my fine AF tune pretty good.

I found it useful for primes.  Not sure what to say about the zooms.  Have you tried with your Sigma zoom that can be fine tuned with the USB dock?  The combination of the two processes could be problematic.

I would repeat the test with the same camera, and the same lens, with the same lens, more than twice, and there would be a range of sometimes up to 5 points.  I am sure because autofocus always has range of outcomes.
