how has your experience been with Capture one pro 8? I bought it about ten days ago but am struggling with it, I found some videos online but can't find an actual book. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks

Go through all the videos available that you can. Visit the blog of the professor too he has a bunch of good vids. As far as I know there is no books written as of yet.
One thing you will like is the program tailors itself to the camera you used optimizing the raws or that camera. You will notice that it's ability to bring out the most in preserving highlights and shadow detail is really spectacular. I may one day post my own workflow. I am still at this point learning how to squeeze the most out of it.
