I know there has been lots of chatter with folks not being able to open images or download images. I found this to be true on many occasions myself. I don't have image hosting accounts nor do I want to open any just to post a few pics here so the work around I have found is to close out of the forum and go back in.

The first sign of an issue when I try and open a newly listed image in a thread and it won't open so I just close out of the forum and go back in. So far it has worked every time and only takes a second to do. I have done this when trying to post images as well and it has worked just fine.

I use firefox and this seems to be the easiest for me anyway.

Hope this helps others a little. If it doesn't work for you then you may need to try some of the other tips mentioned.

Like kcstehr I'm still having problems trying to load photographs from my OneDrive account. Not clear in Tony's direction is to get a box that will take the URL you have to click on the picture icon (green square in white frame) in the tool bar. I can now paste the URL, buy nothing happens when I click OK or Cancel, even clicking the X to close the dialogue box, has no effect except bringing up a are you sure dialogue box which has no effect, and I have to use the back arrow in explorer to get out of it.

Also due to my efforts, I have post a picture less post in the macro forum, how can I delete this thread?

Thanks for the link Bill Peppas, but I still want to be able to post from OneDrive, not another upload service.

ATaylor643 I have had pretty good luck just closing out of the forum and then going back. Don't just back out, close the window then open a new window again going to the site. Only takes a few seconds and I have had a very good success rate doing that.

I also do not want to have to go elsewhere to post pics.

This has worked every time for me when I have had issues either uploading or opening up other pics on this forum. I haven't posted many pics but it has worked every time I had an issue.

Hope it works for you.

Good luck.

Thanks Terry W, I've tried that but still no joy. so I've resorted to exporting from LR to my OneDrive folder on my computer then up loading from there.

Smart phones and tablets do not suffer from upload problems life desktops and laptops suffer. Try that if you have either of those devices.

Photos are a moment in time, that can only be captured once.

I tried to follow the instructions at the top but when I searched SkyDrive it came up with Microsoft OneDrive, I would assume that Microsoft has yet purchased a other company and instead of the 25GB of space you get 15GB from Microsoft, am I correct and is there a better choice than Microsoft?

geohv66,

No, as far as I know, Microsoft has not bought yet another company.

There have been legal issues over the name of SkyDrive, and Microsoft lost the case and had to rename their drive.

They came up with OneDrive.

I'm not sure if there's a better choice than Microsoft, I hardly use their OneDrive.

I like Dropbox better for their integration with various apps, and their 1TB storage space for $9,99 a month. You can also look at your images from within Dropbox.
But it's more of a personal preference :-)
