Here are two projects i played around with a few years ago.

Angus x 4 i was playing with adding elements into a photo. 


Dog face i was practicing my blending. Merged two photos together.


Hard to find the time these days to sit and play at the computer.

hahaha these are good!  There are some good video's on youtube for this kind of stuff.  I just watched an AMAZING one that was similar to your dog face.  It was a lion face on a woman.
