I've been sick and tired of Lightroom/Photoshop's lack of support for some RAW versions (I don't want to buy a new version of software because I got a new camera) and am thinking of PaintShop Pro X8 Ultimate...

That's why you get the Creative Cloud for Photographers bundle.

With $10/month you get the latest version of both PhotoShop & LightRoom with support for all the latest & greatest cameras and you're set.

I was using LightRoom & PhotoShop CS5 until I bought a D7100 and they didn't update the RAW converter... you had to buy the next newest package. I had just bought it too. Pain... I don't need new features etc I just need it to work with my files, oh and Adobe support is terrible, they kept telling me an update would come out soon. It never did. As I'm an amature, though not shy spending money, I've just ordered Corel PaintShop Pro X8 Ultimate. I tend to keep software until I upgrade my computer about every four years... so that'd be 4x12x10=$480 for Adobe or only $49 for Corel PaintShop Pro X8 Ultimate (on sale right now on the Corel Website).

I pay out too many monthly fees, cable, internet, cell phones etc now-a-days, I'm sick of it.

I don't doubt LightRoom & PhotoShop are better but at my level there is so much I just never used (or the learning curve is way up there).

I know this thread is old but my post may be useful for someone. So i usually use both Lightroom and Photoshop CS5. They are classics. And when i need fast photo edit i use some online services like fixthephoto.com and some others
