I have been looking at web-hosting providers to setup a website (Squarespace of course, Shootproof, Zenfolio, Smugmug, etc.). In trying to decide which web hosting provider I'll select I've also been looking at which US-based photo labs each provider partners with. Below is a list of just a few of the photo labs the different providers partner with. I'd love to get your feedback and experiences on any of these companies regarding their pricing (to get the best value for my clients) and quality.

  • Squarespace - Fotomoto (a Bayphoto subsidiary); seems like it's the only one and it doesn't look like the integration works very well.
  • Zenfolio - mpixpro & fotoflot
  • ShootProof - Bayphoto, Black River Imaging, & ProDPI
  • Smugmug - Bay Photo, WHCC, & EZPrints

Thanks in advance for your feedback. I'll also take any personal recommendations/testimonials for any of the web hosting sites as well.

I've been happy with Bay Photo.  Great quality prints, reasonable pricing that allows for adequate markup, and good turn-around time (prints received in the mail in about a week, though I am only 3 hrs away from their location).

I also use Bay Photo through Shoot Proof and have been happy with them so far. I'm new to this buy my clients receive their images in a quick and efficient fashion.
