Just viewed a Youtube vid on Hyperfocal range that I found interesting. 

 

Vlogger, Dave Morrow takes us through his technique his Nikon kit. Also interesting is his choice of set-up for the various buttons/facilities relative to avoiding possible/probable pitfalls when the camera operation over-rides the set-up to some degree..
