Borrowing from David's theme, it was -21C when I took this shot this afternoon, here's a lone doe that stopped to pose for me. 5DIII, Sigma 100-400, ISO320, f6.3, 1/500

Great shot David. I think I might crop out the in focus tree far left?

I thought about that, John.  Matter of fact, I'm planning to print this, so I'll do the crop prior to printing.

Nice David... had a Freudian slip reading...I kept seeing Browning instead of borrowing.  Nice work with the face half-lit.  Thumbs up from Jonny!

No doubt about the value of eye contact in your image David though for ME, the shadow being a straight line detracts somewhat.

Worthy of a big print.

The light across her nose and the bright glint in her eye is beautiful

Nice image there.  It does look cold, thankfully for me it hasn't gotten as cold here as it has for you.  -16C was our lowest over the last two weeks.

Great shot!! I would definitely crop out the tree in focus and put that on my wall :-)

Another great shot.

Agree the bit of tree on the left would be better either cropped or digital blurred out
