As done for the still life challenge on the Take and Make Amazing Photos FB page. I used a flash to get the different exposures. I got everything set up, camera on tripod, remote release ready, flash ready (hand held with diffuser in place), got focus, then turned off the lights. I tripped the shutter set on Bulb then triggered the flash by hand set at 1/64 power and set at 24mm for the zoom setting. The next was 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 and last, 1/4. Synced them in LR then sent the five exposures to Photomatix 6 to give it a bit of gawdy processing. It worked quite well.
FYI, this is a drain clean out cover in our basement surrounded by tools.
