A different kind of bird from my morning trip to Lake Stanley Draper.  An E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft departing Tinker Air Force Base which is just north of the lake.
 
Canon 7D, Tamron SP 70-300mm @ 238mm & f/8, ISO 200, 1/1000s

The plane was starting to turn away from me but I like how it did frame up.
