Spent some time climbing around the grass covered hills trying to capture some interesting action. As the skill is maintaining momentum up wet grassy slopes the vehicle speed is such that panning should be no problem...

Good capture, geedee. A nice slice of life. Looks like fun! As for CC, maybe bring up the shadows a bit and the overall brightness. Was it a cloudy day? The little bit of sky visible looks like it was.

The edited version looks good. I like the concentration of the diver and the motion of the front wheels.

John, it is a toss-up in terms of shutter speed to be slow enough to capture movement in the wheels and retain a measure of sharpness... In this one taken just as they lost traction you can see one rear wheel stationary and the other spinning while trying to grip...

David it is fun, these guys`n gals turn out in all weathers, to drive between canes over a twisting and turning courses up, down and across step slopes the canes have numbers used to identify how far along the course they managed to proceed before they came to rest on each course, it takes a lot of skill to clear any one of the courses...(-:

Good cap, Geedee.  Is that an Alvis ?

A fraction of a second later (or earlier), I don't know which,  and that flagpost wouldn't have obscured the radiator.

Rod, I think that is an Austin 7 which seems to be a popular vehicle for PCTs

I am pleased that you have interest in PCTs Doug, I took quite a few pics as you can imagine..(-: I will attach another couple though do not want to risk bombing the forum..(-:

As can be seen by the post numbers the red car almost "cleared" the section (No1 post) before coming to a standstill

This has been a fun series to watch, geedee. I don't think anyone will complain if you add a few more. That event looks like so much fun. I want to be in one of those cars. Thanks for taking us there.
