Beautiful.  Has your signature all over them :)

The first one - closeup - looks a tiny bit over sharpened.  There's slight artefact around the bird's head and on some of his neck feathers (?)

The others are flawless imo.

You didn't post the best one (again, imo), of the bird with his beak open, - its the second one on your Flickr.

It has EVERYTHING ! :wub:

I didn't really sharpen it  :lol:  :lol:  :lol: It is a pretty hefty crop though.

 

It had a tiny spot of light feathers on the back of it's neck, is that what you're looking at?

David, yeah it's a specific hide which is a 5 hour round trip away. Totally worth the money, time & effort though IMO.

I may be way off on this but the edge of the bird's head against the green has a faint hint of the effect I get when I end up over sharpening my pics.

I'm sort of sorry I brought it up 'cos it's deflecting from the perfection of the series. I may just be zoomed in too much.
