I was up at Palomar state Park on Sat. Sat down on a picnic table when this curious little guy hopped up and grabbed a month.  I turn and clicked of a couple of shots before he flew off.  Wish I had set the shutter a bit faster. It was late afternoon around 5:00 so the light was not great.  All  lCC welcome.

You captured the bird and framed it up very well, not only did you create free space in the direction the bird was looking but you also captured it`s shadow in the frame.. Thanks for posting.

Great opportunity and well grabbed !

Nice detail on his plumage, in spite of the light.  I like that shadow

Well done with a good exposure on the always tough rwbb. I know you can't get them to perch where you want them to but closer to eye level is always a plus.

Thanks John. Your right they won't do what you want this little guy was taunting me he would sit above me or on the ground.  I tried getting down but he would go high every time I got down on the ground. I finally just sat at the table and took the shot I could. Then as I walked away he sat on the table as if to mock me.  LOL
