1/640th, f8, ISO 1600, 300mm

Bird feeder (Sorry). Raining so mooching around indoors, oiling up my cast iron fire place and trying to get my wireless triggers to work.  I failed....

20% crop, de-noised and sharpened.

All CC welcomed

Nice action, well captured, Rod, the feeder does not bother me, I suspect our gardens may have less exciting wildlife than some..(-:

Good shot Rod. The exposure looks good and the clear eye focused on the fledgling adds to it.

So, the shot is great and the detail especially the separation of feathers on the neck with a rainy overcast day is exquisite, but how close are you to get such detail?  where you in the rain too?     Nice pic Rod

Thanks all :)

MrWild, I was about 15-20 feet away and well out of the rain ( I the kitchen with the patio doors open !)

I've been trying for ages to get a decent BIF of the jackdaws but the results are not great so far.  They're wary buggers.
