90mm f/11 1/250 hand held.

I bought a used Tamron 90mm non VC lens and use it on a 70D with a flash ring.

I have a lot to learn but this is going to be fun.

Critique please

Yeah, that's cool, real cool.

Ain't nature great, most people gonna take to that with fly spray, we hook some glass up to a camera and get up close!

Love it.

Great colours, and subject matter to capture an interesting scene... I have tried macro on stationary components indoors, thus have great appreciation for those who capture wildlife and it seems to me that you did very well and for a first day you get even more points.(-:  I wonder if the point of focus is not on the eye or is it that the body of the fly closer to the wing root is more reflective..

Nice work!

I've no idea how you'd go about focus stacking a moving creature like that

Great Shot! I spent the good part of an hour trying to get a jumping spider to hold still. How did you get that fly? Ether?  ;)
