I liked the composition and colors in this one.  The subject is pretty clear.  Overall, I like the feel.  Just portrait cropped to get rid of the cobwebs to the left of the frame, and a bit of PP.  CC Welcome!  210mm, 1/1000,f/5.6, ISO 200

Crumbs !!

That's fantastic.

There's a little bit of CA around the flower (top left corner) but the comp and the colours are very nice.

The detail on the bee is super.

Rod, I'll get on that.  Thanks for pointing that out!  It'll take me some time, but many thanks.  I have a tool, but I have to learn to use it properly.  I tried, but I'm not getting it all.  I need to select my ranges better.

Here's my effort at CA removal....Staring at an image at 400% can get a bit confusing, but it's OK.  It took many attempts, and nothing's perfect.

Thanks Doug!  I am trying, and I think I am getting better :)

Thanks Rod, and thanks for identifying the issue. There is one area that needs work, and I will get to it if I print; the bottom side of one pedal is a bit choppy and needs to be smoothed out. Excellent eyes Rod! I heard about C.A., but I never actually saw it and had to correct it. It can be laborious, and I cloned some areas to speed the process up once I established a good edge. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Jonny, beautiful composition and fantastic detail on the bee.  I recently also got a honey bee at 1/1000 second hand-held, but the details on my bee are not nearly as sharp as this.  I think you've set the standard!  Well done.
