My granddaughter, who believes she is a fairy.

Lovely little girl, enjoy, they grow faster than weeds...(-:   Looks to me that you got the exposure and focus just right, The brickwork is harsh as a selected background though it seems to work well enough providing an interesting juxtaposition between hard and soft, great colours and pose too, might have been even nicer without the stray hairs across her face and looks like you just cropped a little tight to her .err.. wing,  but I am just being over-fussy and I have no skill in portraiture....very nice pic, thanks for posting

Lovely clean image of the subject.

The brick wall is a bit distracting, as Geedee said.

I'd say, that if you put a bit more distance between the girl and the wall you might be able to blur it into a soft neutral background.
