Was out sweeping my driveway and heard various squeaks and animal noises coming from above my head.

It turned out to be these two geniuses in the house across the road.

1/500th, f6.3, ISO 180, 600mm

Cropped a little.

All CC welcomed.

Wonderful image Rod!  I like candid images a lot, and this one is wonderfully lighthearted, happy and brings a smile to my face.  Why were they laughing? See; this image is quite thought provoking, and  I am very curious at to the story behind the image.  I miss the space fairy and the sandwich-devouring beagle, and the curiosity is killing me regarding what these two were really up to.

Sweeping with s DSLR within reach! Now that's impressive! 😁
They are darling kids Rod. Great shot with them "framed" by the window.

Mark - you're a braver man than I am.  I was thinking the exact same thing....Rod, do you often sweep with your camera handy?  B)   If you get shots like this, I'm not knocking it and perhaps should give it a try. :D

Hay, Jonny.

Níamh, (the one with the cloth in her mouth), is 7 or 8, I think.  I don't know who the other one is, but they're both up to "devilment" . The house is a two story plus attic conversion.  I think they were just pleased with themselves at opening the window and making me look up ;)

Space fairy  continues to prosper. I work with her dad and his marathon training schedule limits the chances of going on hikes togather with his kids.

The beagle remains a menace to anything edible.

Mark, there's a chaffinch pair nesting close to my house.  I hear them chattering away but seldom see them, except at the very top of a large beech tree next door.  I had the camera with me in the hope they'd show up for a photo.

No birds but snapped this pair so it wasn't a wasted effort :)
