Wow!.

It took me a little while to understand the image.

It looks a bit like an aphid.

Is that Baltic amber ?  Do you know how old it is ?

Nice shot Hans!  You're really getting down to a very small subject here, and you did well with the details.  The amber also adds an interesting aspect to the photo.  I am not sure if I would have even been able to find the subject, and you found it and photographed it.  Nice work!

Roderick It is fresh amber. I don't know howe you call it in English.  It is the juse that coms from an tree. We found the tree yesterday during hiking in the natural park "the Veluwe".
