Thanks to those that posted similar links about British Photography history on here, recently. It led me down the internet rabbit hole..lol


The reason I wanted to share this one is, history seems to be repeating itself....


Today people worry about smartphone cameras and social media websites, killing or at least dumbing down the photography world.

But the industry not only survived similar changes..it flourished. In fact Ansel Adams rose to the top after such a sequence.


I found around the 8-10 minute mark hit home.


Brownie cameras = cellphones

Kodak postcards = social media posts

Photo montage = photoshop
