Barbara and I have been collecting Beaujolais Nouveau bottles for quite a while.  The oldest is 1997 and the latest, 2015.  For those that don't drink wine, this is the first pressing of the grape.  It's quite mild with a lot of fruitiness, not dry, serves best when chilled just a little and goes well with poultry.  That works out well considering it shows up in the states around American Thanksgiving.  This is a composite of 9 exposures merged in Photomatix Pro 5 to get that HDR tone mapped look.

Nice !

And this is a peculiarity of Beaujolais Nouveau;  if you look closely, you'll see two of the bottles are actually clear.  Very strange for red wine, but with this stuff, it's best consumed shortly after purchased.  It does not age well.

I'll drink to that! It is nice you kept the corks. I have actually been thinking of a similar shot using craft beer bottles. There are many interesting labels. Thanks for the nudge.

Excellent idea about the craft beer bottles!  I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I do enjoy trying new stuff.  Although I've had it a couple of times, I had a Fat Tire last evening at a local restaurant.  Good stuff and a great label.
