I just bought an Olympus e1 markII and I can;t download my photos in raw to Photoshop Element 14, Lightroom 6 or apple photos.

I look for updates on these but it says I am up to date. I can't find nothing in the adobe site to tell me what to do. I can't call them or email them

nighter. Does any one else have this problem and what did you do to correct it.

I am not sure because I am just getting into RAW files.  Your Olympus files are .ORF files.  I have no idea what the software requires regarding file types or what cameras are supported, but you may want to check into that.  Convert your .ORF files to .PNG files, or some file format accepted by the software, and see if that works.  That is relatively quick and painless as a test to see if it's a file format issue and may solve your dilemma.   I'm just guessing here, and I may be totally wrong.

Please let me know if this works.  I am anticipating similar issues and may have to batch process my .ORF files.  If I am wrong; so be it.  If I am correct, your solution may serve me well in the future!

Until the software you prefer to use has an update for the new camera's RAW files, you could use the Olympus software that came with the camera. It can surely handle the raw images that the camera produces.

Adobe DNG Converter will change ORF files from the EN1 MkII to .dng. You will need to download the most recent edition of Adobe DNG Converter.ROSS Cota

I just bought the Olympus omd em-1 mkii also. I had the same problem. I downloaded the Olympus viewer software and it works. You can manipulate the photos in Olympus Viewer and then save them in JPEG. I was using Lightroom and will convert back when an updated version of Lightroom can handle these files. For now, the Olympus software seems to be the easiest solution although the software is a little clunkier to use and learn it's quirks.
