That's a hot shot Matt, just trying to figure out is he supporting the hot glass with his leg?

Don't inhale! :-) This stuff always amazes me.  The skill involved is something.  Nicely done!

Can`t imagine how this image could be better.... The lack of eye contact enhances the sense of concentration of the blower to the task in hand, the DOF works great too in that there is enough detail in the kilns to give a good idea of the surroundings but not enough detail to cause distraction from the subject in any way. Another cracker Matt.

Cool shot Matt, this takes me back to when I was 16, I had an apprenticeship as a Neon sign glass bender, which I did for 2 years till I was made redundant ! nice to have a blast from the past.

No it's a metal support which is shaped to his leg, kinda hard to explain.

Great.  hard to believe you're at ISO 6400 !

I'm going to start using the 5D3 for wildlife as it handles ISO/noise so well compared to the 7D2

Very cool shot, Matt! It would be interesting to see its black'n'white variant, where grain and shadows add more brutality to it :-)
