My new camera arrived today, awesome! Out after dinner to get a shot or two, the moon was about all there was, so I shot the moon. Stuck my memory card in the reader, and found out light room version 5.7.1 does NOT support the 5DsR!

SOB, back to the 7d-mkii temporarily :-(. Tomorrow will be a better day, I hope.

Thanks Doug, that is what I thought, and a new computer that runs a lot faster.

Another workaround is to use dng converter, then import the dng files

Yep used that dng converter a fair bit till I grudgingly gave in and forked out for the monthly Adobe CC photographers bundle.

hah its a good deterrent from me not buying a new body.  If I buy a 5d4 and/or a Fuji xt2, have to fork out for LR CC.  DNG converter slows down the workflow with an additional step

Ebit I'm buying LR 6, one time charge instead of a monthly fee!
