5D3 Ai Servo Af Focussing

I have configured my 5D3 to operate back button focus with the "AF-On" button.

If I want to use AI Servo AF to track fast moving subjects, do I need to keep the Back button (AF-On) button pressed throughout the duration of the shot sequence to keep focus

or do I need to reconfigure the back button focus for this mode

or does the back button setting revetrt to the shutter button in this mode?

Any Help appreciated

Back button focus remains until you change it to another button or go back to default.  For constant tracking, hold down the button.  Here's a Canon video you might find helpful:
