Well last weekend in Japan and the annual airshow was today. Didn't stay for much of it, however got to see the blue impulse fly.

Great shots, really sharp. What settings? Did you use a super fast shutter speed or is it possible to pan as they fly by (# 4 and 5)

Thanks, I was using 1/2000. It was hard to get a good shot when they are directly in front of you, due to the speed they are traveling. If you didn't use single point for focusing it would tend to grab the smoke trails over the jets.

The f4 wasn't there and I missed the 15 and f2 flying. The f2 is just a slightly larger f16.
