Nice, Paul!  I may head down to the river front this week and take the 70-200.  The last time I went, I took the 150-600 and found it to be too much lens for the larger river traffic.  Then I'll grab some street photography as I walk to my dear friend's restaurant for a fried oyster Po-boy and a Fat Tire beer. :-)

Seems like you chose to go with the 70-200 as suiting your wedding pic challenge and filling a blank in your armoury... Nice pics the fly in the frog pic adds interest...(-: As for your "girl" lovely animal and a favourite breed of mine having lived with a couple of them... She has a good stance and great expression, speaks volumes to me..

Think that there is perhaps something lost in not being able to se her feet...?

I will post a few images (elsewhere) taken of my dog taken almost 40 years ago, they are scans taken circa 20 years ago when digitisation made such things possible Sure this is a photography forum and perhaps best/safest not to personalise it to such a degree but I guess it is bound to creep in ...(-:

Beautiful dog, the frogy is less huggable.

That lens can really work up and down the scale.

She is a beautiful dog Paul and both images are very sharp. I can see a bit of noise in the frog shot.
